{Celebrate} Audrey's Cake & Confetti Party (Part 2)

It definitely has been a while between posts and l so apologise...but sometimes life just gets in the way...or should l say celebrating does....LOL!!! I would now like to share with you some of the details of Audrey's Cake & Confetti Party!!

Audrey's party was full of cake, friends and funfetti!!!  I set the scene for the party with the decorations which consisted of a gold mylar streamer backdrop with a fringed fabric garland hanging above the dessert table.  I also cut large confetti dots in the colours of the party and filled clear balloons with them and attached some handmade balloon boas and balloon ruffles in co-ordinating colours beside the dessert table and around the party room.  I used co ordinating fabrics for the tables and made gold sprinkle plates for the tableware and gold tins for the vases.  I really enjoyed creating all of the party decor and edible decorations for this party and if you need something especially made for you then you can order them in my Etsy Store

The children and those young at heart all enjoyed decorating their own cupcakes at the cupcake station!!  There was buttercream and sprinkles galore for decorating and little boxes to take home their creations!

The biggest highlight however was of course the handmade pinata but little did the children know that it was not full of lollies but of giant bouncing balloons and confetti!  I am still picking up confetti and it is 4 months later....mmmm...l somehow think that will be our last confetti party but boy was it fun!!!

It was a relaxing afternoon spent with family and friends enjoying some sweet treats like homemade confetti marshmallows, confetti meringue kisses, tiramisu cake, chocolate ripple cake, 2 tier chocolate cake, vanilla bean cupcakes with edible pompoms and gold sequins, sprinkle biscuits, chocolate bars and delicious vanilla bean biscuits created by The Iced Biscuit

All guests took home a giant homemade freckle as well as a little bottle of bubbles and their cupcake creation and maybe a balloon or 2!!

I definitely did a lot of baking, creating and celebrating for this party and had so much fun in doing it!!!  I hope you have all enjoyed seeing Part 2 of Audrey's Cake & Confetti Party!

XOXO
Larissa

  1. Wow, absolutely awesome party Larissa. You're one clever lady. Love the confetti-filled balloon idea. I reckon that would go down well at an adult's party too, as would the take-home giant freckles! Is that a chalkboard tabletop – what a brilliant idea!

  2. This party decor is off the wall! Lots of sweets and you can really see the kids having a great time. Really admire your talent and creativity! There are so many details I adore in this party but my favorites are the chalkboard tabletop and fringed garland. :)
